Welcome to Seedance AI, the AI music generator designed to help you create stunning audio in seconds. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Seedance AI. Please read them carefully.

Service Description

Seedance AI provides users with powerful AI music generation capabilities, including:

  • Text-to-Music Generation: Create music from text descriptions in seconds
  • Audio Editing: Transform and enhance existing audio with AI-powered tools
  • Audio Remixing: Combine and remix audio into creative compositions

All generated audio includes digital watermarks for authentication and content verification purposes. These watermarks help identify AI-generated content while maintaining audio quality.

User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

To access Seedance AI services, you must create an account using Google OAuth authentication. By signing in with your Google account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Seedance AI. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Account Security

You are solely responsible for:

  • Safeguarding your Google account credentials
  • All activities and content generated through your account
  • Promptly notifying us of any security breaches

Credit System and Usage

How Credits Work

Seedance AI operates on a credit-based system:

  • Credits are purchased in packages and added to your account
  • Each music generation consumes credits based on the selected mode and duration
  • Credits are deducted immediately upon successful generation
  • Lifetime validity: Credits purchased never expire as long as your account remains active
  • Free credits: New users receive a one-time allocation of free credits to explore the platform

Credit Consumption

  • Text-to-Music: Credits per generation (varies by duration)
  • Audio Editing: Credits per edit operation
  • Audio Remixing: Credits per remix (higher consumption)

Rate Limiting

To ensure fair usage and system stability:

  • Maximum 3 generation attempts per minute per account
  • Excessive requests may result in temporary throttling
  • Rate limits may be adjusted based on subscription tier

Pricing and Payments

Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise specified
  • Prices may be subject to change with prior notice to users
  • Taxes may apply based on your location

Subscription Plans

  • Free Plan: Limited monthly credits with standard features
  • Pro Plans: Higher credit allocations with premium features
  • Subscription renewals are automatic unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings

Refund Policy

Eligibility

You may request a refund under the following conditions:

  • Request is made within 7 days of purchase
  • Less than 5% of purchased credits have been used
  • Valid proof of purchase is provided
  • No violations of these Terms have occurred

Processing

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 1-7 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refund methods vary by payment type (credit card: 5-10 days, debit: 3-7 days, digital wallet: 1-3 days)

Exclusions

Refunds are not available for:

  • Subjective dissatisfaction with audio quality
  • User errors in prompt input or settings
  • Credits used in violation of these Terms
  • Purchases made more than 7 days ago
  • Accounts with more than 5% credit usage

Content Rights and Ownership

Your Content

  • You retain full commercial rights to all music you generate using Seedance AI
  • You may use generated music for personal or commercial purposes without attribution
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws

Our Platform

  • Seedance AI retains all rights to the underlying AI technology, algorithms, and platform
  • You may not reverse engineer, reproduce, or redistribute our AI models
  • The Seedance AI brand, logo, and interface design are protected by copyright

Input Content

  • You must own or have rights to any audio you upload for editing or remixing
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your prompts and inputs don't violate third-party rights
  • Seedance AI is not liable for copyright infringement arising from your content

Data Storage and Retention

Storage Policy

  • Generated audio and prompts are stored for 14 days
  • After 14 days, all data is automatically and permanently deleted
  • You can download and save your audio at any time before deletion
  • Early deletion is available through account settings

Data Access

During the 14-day retention period:

  • You can access and download your generated audio
  • You can view your prompt history
  • You can delete specific audio or prompts manually

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Seedance AI for:

Content Violations

  • Generating illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Creating deepfakes or misleading impersonations without consent
  • Producing content that violates intellectual property rights
  • Generating explicit, violent, or hateful content

System Abuse

  • Attempting to reverse engineer or extract our AI models
  • Bypassing rate limits or security measures
  • Using automated scripts or bots without authorization
  • Disrupting service availability or performance

Account Misuse

  • Sharing account credentials with others
  • Creating multiple accounts to abuse free credits
  • Reselling credits or access to the platform
  • Engaging in fraudulent payment activities

Violation Consequences: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, revoke credits, and pursue legal action for prohibited activities.

Privacy and Data Collection

Seedance AI collects and processes:

  • Authentication data from Google OAuth (email, name, profile picture)
  • Usage data (prompts, generation settings, timestamps)
  • Generated audio (stored for 14 days)
  • Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
  • Technical data (IP address, browser, device information)

We use this data to:

  • Provide and improve our services
  • Process payments and manage accounts
  • Ensure security and prevent abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

Third-Party Services

Service Availability

Maintenance

Limitation of Liability

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion (subject to refund policy if eligible).

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms or our policies
  • We detect fraudulent or abusive activity
  • Required by law or legal process
  • You engage in prohibited activities

Terminated accounts forfeit all remaining credits without refund.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be:

  • Effective immediately upon posting
  • Notified via email for material changes

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

Governing Law
